Inffinity Photo V2 loads in Users rather than Program File

Recommended Posts

Here’s the problem. I had Affinity V1 and it was self installed in the Program File, where it should be on the C drive. It worked fine. When I load V2 on the computer it loaded itself in the Users file, again on the C drive. I have removed both program and reloaded V2 and it goes right back to C:\users. So far I haven’t been able to find a way to direct it to C:\Program file. Everything seems to be automatic, and there seems to be no option to install it elsewhere. I’m assuming that it should be in the standard Program File like everything else like it? It works, it loads normally and all seems well even though it isn’t where it should. That is until you try and open a photo from a photo database (usually Faststone) via right clicking and using the “open with” option in Faststone. There doesn’t seem to be a way of doing this with it located in Users. I can’t find Affinity exe. file and it won’t recognize the Affinity icons (short cuts) on the desktop etc. Any ideas? Other...I have removed and reinstalled Affinity and Faststone several time each with no change. Dell Desktop, about 2 years old, Windows 10, I-7 etc. On1 and Adobe Elements are also on the computer and are working as they should.
