In AD2 how do you see what's in the Group while it's closed, like you can in AD1.

Win10/AD2

How do I see what's in the groups when it's still closed? In AD1 it shows you whats in the group.

AD2 is using the 'Group is Empty' icon. In AD1 when a group was empty, it used the same icon that AD2 seems to use for all groups.

If you have to open each group to see what's in it, there's not much point in grouping them.

@loukash

Thank you!

I can't believe they didn't think to automatically set that to ON when installed, but there are so many issues with AD2, I guess that's a small one.

My "semi-educated" guess is that it's on purpose, because rendering these thumbnails always requires some additional processing power. On older computers, that can slow things down. (Example: my travel laptop is a 2008 MacBook Pro running El Capitan, and while Affinity 1 works alright there, it's noticeably slower than on my newer one.)
