evtonic3
It appears that the move up or down arrows of the styles only works with same effects kind (color overlays over color overlays). It will not let me move a color overlay over a gradient overlay, but just by seeing the UI it looks like it should let me.
Staff stokerg Posted January 17, 2023 Staff Share Posted January 17, 2023 Hi @evtonic3, Could you post a screen recording showing the issue? I'm struggling to visualise the entire workflow involved.
evtonic3
Here is a short video of what I mean. I just think that being able to move a layer effect up and down the panel would be very beneficial. But the way the UI is set up the Move up and down arrows are constant and don't do anything unless you have multiple of the same. I mocked up an idea of how to resolve this. Take a look at the photo. Aammppaa
The arrows would certainly be better as you've depicted, and also we should be able to interact with the effects as we do layers in the Layers panel... Drag effects up and down the stack. Control click & Shift click to select multiple effects (useful for turning many effect on or off at once). Alt drag to duplicate an effect.
