Yenofsky
I am running Windows 11. I installed Affinity Photo 2, then tried to install addons (e.g.,, Fog overlays and Rain overlays by Paper Farms). The addons never showed up under the "Assets" tab. At that point, I checked in Windows Add/Remove programs app and did not see Affinity photo listed. So I cannot uninstall it nor can I add any addons. I was able to find the installation folder at: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\SerifEuropeLtd.AffinityPhoto2_2.0.0.1640_x64__3cqzy0nppv2rt\App. How do I work with this Affinity Program if Windows doesn't recognize its installation. How do I uninstall it and re-install to a directory that windows will recognize??????????
RichardMH
Is it there in Settings->Apps->Installed Apps? You can uninstall from there. Not sure what's happening with the assets. Just got some to download for me.
Ron P.
For whatever reason Serif decided the Default, and Assets categories would be empty. So make sure you check beyond that, as seen in my screen capture. 2022-12-11 02-10-53.mp4 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. I still don't get why it doesn't show up in the list of installed programs. You have been extremely helpful. and I am very grateful. Yenofsky
It seems needlessly confusing. Either Windows or the software maker should state on installation some info as to where the program resides. I am most appreciative of your feedback. rick Yenofsky
