Affinity Designer 2.0.0 closes unexpectedly every time, no crash report on the path, updated graphics card drivers

Recommended Posts

I have not been able to generate any work with the software since I bought it, when i opens, it is open for a few seconds and it closes, it does not matter if I navigate in the program or leave it open without manipulating. I already deselected the openCL and the same problem continues. I can't do much more as the program doesn't stay open for more than a few seconds.

There is no crash report on the path.

If it crashes in seconds and have never been able to exit normally, then the no-open cl setting is not saved; preferences seem to need a successful exit to be saved. There is a way to launch Affinity apps without open cl, for these cases (among others) :

AD, AP and APub. V1.10.6 (not using v1.x anymore) and V2.4.x. Windows 10 and Windows 11.
