rcw
Hi all! I'm new to Affinity, I just downloaded V2 (version 2.0.0) and I'm not the most tech savvy person. I downloaded a few fonts from google, but for some reason, only one style will appear in Affinity Publisher. I did try searching for this problem, so I apologize if it's been posted before, but I didn't see anyone with this specific problem. I did find one post with a somewhat similar problem, and someone suggested uninstalling the fonts and then reinstalling them "for all users." I tried that and it didn't work. It seems to me that Affinity is recognizing that the fonts have multiple styles, but it's not recognizing something about them so it presents all styles. The fonts are from google fonts, and most of them only had one file. Nunito had 2 files, and so I get 2 styles for that font, extra light and extra light italic. Hopefully the picture illustrates the problem I'm facing. I also attached one of the fonts in case that's helpful. I have tried using the fonts in other applications (like MS Word), and all the styles show up there so I feel like this is specific to Affinity. Any help is appreciated, I'd really like to be able to use more than "light" and "extra light" fonts lol and if I forgot to include any info, let me know! firstdefence
No problem, hope affinity get onto this lack of support as I feel supporting variable fonts is an essential requirement.
