Affinity Designer 2 for iPad: Locking guidelines

Estalfos

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I have a question, I am trying to lock my guidelines on the canvas of AD 2 but I seemingly can’t. I press the lock on the settings but it does nothing so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. I used to lock them all the time in v1.

thanks is advance

ps: bring back the trash can button please

How are you trying to move them after locking?

I'm finding that I can't move them with the Move Tool in V2 when the Guides are locked, but I can still move them with a finger when no tools are selected.

Just have to exit the Guides Panel….either by selecting a Tool from Tools Panel (the Move Tool as Walt refers to) or even selecting another Panel (Layers, etc)…and it should Lock automatically after exiting. When you renter the Guides Settings, they will unlock again.

Probably have your Guides Panel Pinned, so it will stay onscreen, meaning you can modify/move them.
