TonyO
The new mesh warp tool is really good, i mean REALLY good. But there is some broken behavior when editing mesh nodes versus standard nodes. It appears that converting between straight/cusp and smooth nodes in mesh editing doesn't do anything. Clicking smooth does not lock the handles, and clicking straight doesn't straighten out the lines. Can the mesh nodes be tweaked to function like regular vector nodes, there are instances where converting to straight lines and sharp curves would be useful/necessary when warping objects - while Smooth mode appears to simply be broken since the handles don't lock together. Dimmo
Hi, any advancement on having sharp nodes added to the warp group, trying to turn a cusp node into a sharp corner is a total pain

The Mesh Warp nodes definitely should behave like regular vector nodes, including all snapping features as present in the context toolbar of the Node tool. Staff EmT Posted February 13 Staff Share Posted February 13 Hi @loukash The issue has been passed over to the devs to be looked into. I am unable to give interim updates on how an investigation is progressing or a time scale on when it will be fixed. However when it is, you will see a comment on your this post from @Serif Info Bot advising you it has been fixed and in which build number. loukash 1 Quote How to format a bug report | List of V2 FAQ's | Affinity Photo (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Designer (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Publisher (V2) Tutorials
loukash
Thanks, @EmT. This exact issue also affects the pixel Mesh Warp in APh. Could it be looked into at the same time, or should there be a separate thread/bug report/feature request?
