Cannot Log into Account

I am unable to log into my account. On lodging a support ticket I get the following instructions (after a long wait) - screen snap enclosed - which, as far as I can determine require me to log into my account before I can activate.

Is there something I am not understanding here?

First question: do you have an account at the Affinity Store? Have you purchased from Serif at the Affinity Store in the past, or downloaded free content from the Store? If so, you should be able to login at https://affinity.store/account using the email address for that account and the password for it. Note: The Affinity Store account and the Affinity Forums accounts are separate. You may have one of them, or both. They may use the same email and password, or different ones.

If you purchased from the Apple Store or the Microsoft Store, and you do not yet have an Affinity Store account, then you will need to say that you don't have an account, and set up a new one.
