Joystick Icon

I hardly, if ever, use the joystick icon to do task in affinity designer on the iPad. 

Please allow a setting to always have it hidden when opening a document. It is annoying having to hide it every time and it gets in the way of the canvas.

You can toggle the command controller on and off using the icon highlighted with the red box as shown here.

The problem is that there doesn’t seem to be a Preferences setting to keep it hidden until further notice.

But:

• It's just one click/tap to hide it. And
• If it were a Preference, and you ever needed it, you'd have to leave the document, update the Preference, and come back to the document.

I know, but that clearly doesn’t suit everybody!

Not if the preference is simply to remember the state it was last in and keep it that way, or else to indicate whether or not it should be initially visible when opened (but leave the icon there to show/hide as it is now).

In Photo, the Command Controller is off by default. If that is the intended behavior, I wonder why it’s different in Designer. Maybe Serif assumes it will be used more in Designer? I prefer consistency between the apps.
