I need help with my purchase, please

Recommended Posts

Hello!
I bought the affinity version 2 package with the discount, but at the end of the purchase I got an error. I bought again with another credit card thinking that this was the problem and I also got an error. Checking, I have seen that I have been charged on one card and I have not received the code. I would like to fix it. Also solve the fact that I am only charged on one card. Thank you

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

It will probably be best for you to email affinityorders@serif.com and discuss this with them. They will need some information from you that should remain confidential (your full name, card number, date/time of purchase (approximate)) that cannot be shared here.

As everyone at Serif is very busy, though, it could be a few days before you hear back from a human.

I have the same issue here...

Tried to buy Affinity Designer v2 three times and all of them returned an error... But my card got charged the three times!

Any answers from their end, @rfed10?

Hi! Yes, I have received an answer. This is the message:

Payment failed, and as a result the funds will not have been accepted by Affinity.

Assuming that the correct email address was used, you will receive an email from Affinity providing the confirmation of successful placement. If the payment failed, it might be worth trying again.

Please also ensure you are using the latest version of your web browser when placing the order, as any out-of-date browsers usually throw back an error such as this.

For more detailed information on failed orders, could I please recommend that you check out

Well, I have the same problem for a month. I have tried multiple occasions with different cards, with different browsers, even from two different operating systems: Windows and Ventura on Mac and there is no way. It always gives the same error. And as has happened to most of those who have tried to pay by card, they have held me at the approximate bank about ten days the amount of each of the purchases. I have written to all the emails but none solve anything. And I'm still unable to have what I want. Very frustrating everything. Do I have to believe that they are able to design a product as good as Affinity Photo but they are not able to correct an error such as not being able to pay? I sincerely do not know what to think but it sounds foolish

Hello!

I paid up to 3 times with a credit card but it didn't work for me. I tried to pay through paypal and it worked for me instantly. I hope I've helped

Thanks for your help but I don't have PayPal

Then perhaps try using the Microsoft Store, or the Mac App Store, or the iPadOS Store, depending on which OS you use? You would download a Trial version from one of them and install it, then purchase with an in-app purchase.

Finally I looked for a friend with PayPal and bought it for me. I also tried from the Apple Store and I couldn't. Cheers

Just my personal experience, I've tried today using the App Store (in app purchase) and I got the same result as many people here : the payment works fine but then no licence is provided (I tried the €119,90 "universal" licence).
