The shortcuts which you can assign to the text styles in their dialog boxes break typing. When editing text in a textbox, instead of placing said letter, the text style shortcut is applied. This means that any assigned alphanumerical keys become invalid for typing.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a text style or modify an existing text style.

2. Assign a letter shortcut to it (e.g. "B").

3. Enable the Frame text tool

4. Type: Something like this with a body text.

5. Notice that the text style is applied when you type "B" for body. Also notice that you cannot type the word "Body".

This happens on Windows 22H2, build 19045.2251.

You have to have a Modifier Key such as Alt or Control there as well as the 'b' for body. Note that on Mac Alt + b will give  so some letter combinations with the Alt key may not work on Windows.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

You don't need a modifier key on macOS but without one the shortcut will only work when the cursor isn't in a text frame. I was actually surprised it worked when I tested it today. All the letters are assigned by default but I reassigned one for a test.
