thistle
Using the trial of the latest version 2.0.0 on Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1, MacBook Air M1. While processing a RAW photo, all of a sudden, the toolbar, the tools and the (right) studio disappeared. See screenshot. They disappeared after my changing the display scaling, but I cannot replicate the issue. Pressing TAB did not revert the UI to its previous state. The right studio stayed hidden. When I was browsing your website to understand how to put everything in place, Affinity Photo crashed, I was not even using it. See screenshot. Unfortunately, I cannot be more specific, but it is worth investigating if a change in the display scale affects your app while a RAW file is being processed. The corresponding crash log should be located in the ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports folder. You may want to upload it here. loukash
It may take some time – perhaps a week or so – due to their immense backlog at the moment, but eventually a staff member will likely post here and look into it. Staff Chris B Posted December 9, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 9, 2022 Hey thistle, I'm not sure what has happened here. The safest option would be to do a soft reset on the app or install the beta. To reset the app, close it down, hold ctrl and open the app - keep ctrl held down. Once a new window appears, check the option for Reset Studio but uncheck everything else. If that doesn't work, repeat this but leave the 3 original checks ticked. thistle
Thank you. It did not occur again, I will keep exploring the app as it is.
