Intuos5 Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Dear Serif, please make the text style shortcuts context sensitive, meaning that text styles are not applied when I try to type my text. I prefer to use the alphanumeric keys for text styles so I can activate them with a single keypress. But currently, if I have a body style associated to the "B" hotkey, I cannot type the word "body" in a text frame. 😭
MikeTO Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Hi, I can't duplicate this problem on macOS. If I assign a letter to a text frame I can still type that letter in a text frame. The shortcut will only work when the cursor is not in a text object which makes it a poor choice for a shortcut. It's better to use a modifier key IMO. Intuos5 Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 So this is apparently an issue on Windows 10. I have only one style applied to each text box, so as a quick and dirty I would prefer it over using modifier keys. It would also be helpful for artistic texts for me.

So you should report it as a bug, rather than as feedback, in my opinion. Intuos5 Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Yeah, I'll report it as a bug. I thought it was supposed to behave the way it did, but apparently not. E: the bug report: MikeTO and walt.farrell 2
