Shamrock

First…this is a huge quick rushed example

But…could be a couple of ways. But above all will be….learning and practice.
‘Two ways…among others….

1- Could Place the image - reduce Opacity > Create a New Vector Layer > Use Pen Tool to place Nodes in and around basic Form of the clover > Use Node Tool to alter the line Paths to match…as well as Node Handles.

After completed > Duplicate Layer > select Top duplicate Layer Color…fill light green > bottom duplicate…fill dark green > select Move Tool and Transform so dark green layer is visible, as well as light green one > Make any adjustments using the Node Tool until pleased with the look.

2- Same as above to start…but select and use the Contour Tool instead. (Will have options in Toolbar once Contour Tool is selected to assist in appearance). Most likely will still need Node adjustments overall, but is quick and easy if not concerned with intricate corners/spacing and such.

The leaves may have been created with heart shapes.

You could create one leaf, duplicate it, and rotate the duplicate using the bottom tip as the origin point. Then nudge the leaves inward towards each other to make them overlap however much you want.

A shamrock is similar to a three-leaf clover. You already know how to draw a four-leaf clover, so you just need to omit one of the leaves.

For the two-tone effect, duplicate the entire design, shrink the duplicate and recolour it.
