Commander Taco
I am creating an environmental graphic that measures 8500 mm wide by 2700 mm in height. When creating a PDF for the final deliverable, the width gets truncated in Acrobat. After doing some research, Adobe states that a PDF's maximum width or height is 5080 mm (200 in). So I did a test. I created the same graphic in Illustrator, the same size, etc. I saved a copy as a PDF and then opened it in Acrobat, and no issues. I am using the latest build of all Affinity products. I created the graphic in Affinity Designer 2.0 and repeated the truncation on Mac and Windows platforms. Any insights? Or is anyone else experiencing this same issue? AlainP
I never created anything so big. If the content is vectors only you just can bring down the dimensions to half of it and it will be fine printed at any size. And a print that size is certainly not for looking at from a close distance, so it can be smaller and viewed from a certain distance it will be fine. On what this will be printed? Have a look here for some informations on that subject.
