Pixels turn into centimeters in a document

Hello,

Can somebody tell me how to change Pixel into centimeters in a document.

The document that I have made in Illustrator will only shows pixels.

But if I make a new blanc document then it will appears in centimeter.

How can I convert the measurements to centimeters?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What you're seeing is points (pt), not pixels (px). In Designer, choose File > Document Setup to change the measurement system of the current document.

Your screenshot shows Points (pt) which is a default unit in PDF (while AI is a PDF related file format).

You can not change this default unit for those imports but you can easily switch to mm or cm:
• If not visible already activate the ruler for your document window.
• Right-click in the intersection of the two rulers. This will open a pop-up menu where you can choose from various units.

Additionally, there is an option in the app Preferences > User Interface which allows to switch the unit for text and lines from its default Points to correspond with the current document unit.
