sb101
the .afphoto just has a link to "temp"-dir in windows to test: drag an image from a webpage to AFPho and hold ctrl while dropping (works in chrome, not in firefox). if the file is linked, use replace and enter some different url (linking to another img on another website)

So, is your problem that Firefox is not providing you with a URL, but Chrome is? If that's it, it sounds like a Firefox issue, to me, not a Photo 2 issue. Still, if FF is automatically doing a download, I'm not sure what Affinity can do about it. I guess we'll have to see what Serif says sb101 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Dan C
Hi sb101, I'm having a problem recreating your issue, importing via url and dragging both seem to work fine using the latest version of both our software and Firefox in w11. What OS are you running? Lee
