Changing units while assigning a drawing scale makes AD2 on Windows unresponsive

I've had this happen on 2 different PCs now, hardware acceleration on and off.

If you load a photo, for instance, and the default units of the document is in pixels, when you use the measure tool and "Assign Drawing Scale" and use (in my case) inches, the software will lock up and become unresponsive. 

I eventually figured out that if I change the document's units to inches before assigning the drawing scale, then it will work.

This is a known issue currently logged with our developers to be fixed i'll update this thread once I have more info.
