mrs68tm Posted December 2, 2022 Share Posted December 2, 2022 Hi, I made two templates, Horizontal and Vertical, for engraving effect. You can modify them as you want! You can play with gradient fill layer, with BW adjustment, also you can replace the engraving files. (for a stonger effect, you can duplicate them, and then you have to play with opacity, you can pick-up another blend mode) I attached them below, also a folder with some engraving patterns in .png. I attached the final result, in a gradient and two colors, for the Vertical template. More, in the below link. Thx It is not your fault you cannot upload your affinity files, it is the forums software has not yet been updated to support any of the V2 file formats. The forums can upload V1 file formats so I guess it is something the Serif Forums IT staff need to enable in the Forums software. I tried with both versions, in their native format, also in zip format, without extensions, the same result. I put them in Dropbox. I put them on Gumroad, too. Free of charge, of course. Normally, they were made in v1, but they work in the same way in both versions. I made small changes in V2, added some names to the layers. Anyway, I uninstalled v1 to gain some space in my SSD. Still going to go through the Tutorial Video, just to attempt and replicate the process which was easy to follow (just a lot of steps). But was able to DL from the Dropbox, and open in V2…works good.
