erchdk Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 When working in an isometric grid using alignment handles to align objects to each other crashes the app. Quote
Aammppaa Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I was unable to reproduce this crash on my machine. I enabled a simple isometric grid. Drew some rectangles in various planes. Snapped them together with the alignment handles. Everything worked as expected. Do you have a simple recipe that demonstrates the issue? A video / GIF might be helpful too. Or a particular file that exhibits the crash. Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro

Aammppaa Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 OK. Confirmed. I get the crash too. You had selected Isometric Cube (which crashes), where I used Isometric with Planes (which works). Hopefully the staff will log as a bug. Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
4dimage Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Oops - heavy! Can confirm and reproduce this multiple times. As long as you resize with the default transformation handles (corners, sides) everything works. If you activate "Ausrichtungsgriffe einblenden" (sorry, have only the german label, in header toolbar) and then drag with the blue arrow widget in the shape Designer instantanously crashes (not just freezes). Staff MEB Posted December 1, 2022 Staff Posted December 1, 2022 Hi @erchdk, @4dimage, I've reproduced the issue here and filling a bug report. Thanks for your feedback/support. erchdk, 4dimage, Aammppaa and 1 other 4 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
