evtonic3
If I overwrite a file name with a new name then the file name does not update to reflect it in the tabs at top? Shouldn't it now take on the new name and not the old one?
evtonic3
My mistake i was referring to exporting and not overwriting a native .afdesign file. Same I guess, it doesn't reflect what you last exported in terms of a file name.
barninga
same in photo. it does make sense, though. i guess that this is done from photo/designer's perspective: we can work on a project (in native format) and produce many exports in different ways, but the project remains the same it originally was. R C-R
Why should the name change? After the export operation, you are still working on the current document, not the version you exported. Staff DWright Posted January 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 28, 2016 If you do a Save As and choose a new name the name is updated in the top bar but when you do a Export you are creating a copy so the name does not change.
