GregRobsonGarth Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I selected the Perspective live filter and then while placing the corners of the grid into place (Planes=Single, Mode=Destination, Blend=Normal) the underlying images and some controls on the right of the screen become corrupted. Affinity becomes unusable after that. It does not hang but all the images in all the tabs display incorrectly. It has happened a few times. See the attached image. You can see from the image at the bottom right of the screen what it should look like. Windows 11, 64Gb Memory. Affinity Photo 2.0.0 (no updates available). To reproduce the error: I have 2 documents open. In document 1, I used the "Perspective Tool" to isolate an image. Copied and pasted the image into Document 2 above an existing image in the Layer panel. With the copied image selected in the Layer panel, selected Layer -> New Live Filter -> Distort -> Perspective. Then poitioned the copied image over the underlying layer using the corner handles of the perspective grid. As I am positioning the corners the corruption occurs. Not always with the first keystroke. I could be after a few corner repositions. Regards Greg Quote

Ron P. Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Welcome to the forums, What GPU (video card) are you using? I'd check and update to the latest drivers. Do this with the manufacturer, don't rely on Windows Update for this. Quote Affinity Photo 2.6..; Affinity Designer 2.6..; Affinity Publisher 2.6..; Affinity2 Beta versions. I should have tried that first. I can't reproduce the problem any more; but I will keep on trying. I have a RTX 3060 with 12Gb and the latest Nvidia drivers. Quote
Ron P. Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Glad to see it's working now. Rebooting after installing a program, used to be required several years ago, think Win3.0, Win95 and so on. Now we can, for the most part, get away with not rebooting, or rather Restarting. I think however it tends to creep up and bite us when we least expect. I know it's one thing I do when having problems and nothing seems to be working. Quote Affinity Photo 2.6..; Affinity Designer 2.6..; Affinity Publisher 2.6..; Affinity2 Beta versions.
