APu / AD Override Layer Visibility - Part 2 - Ignored during PDF export

1. I placed an .afphoto file, having several layers with different colours, several times.

2. I assigned different colours by hiding the layers.

3. Export preview showed all colours, but only one colour showed up in the PDF. Sending to a printer worked fine.

Am I correct in thinking that this means that the Preview was wrong, but the actual Exported file was correct?

Can you supply any screenshots, and / or a sample .afpub file to demonstrate the problem? Also any relevant Export settings would be helpful.

Edit: Also, can you confirm how you're hiding the layers? I can think of at least two ways.

Printing was correct, Preview was correct, but not the PDF. See attached image. Exported with Press Ready preset and layer visibility was done through the context toolbar.

I attached the files also.
