Louis2
Removed Affinity V2 installations. Still waiting for decent installer files! I can not live with the app shit. I need normal program files, located in the program directory, usable for all users, storing the data on my data disk and not on some creepy Microsoft defined location. So after buying the V2 update I was shocked and remover the V2 apps. Still waiting for normal install files Louis

The official versions of those were released on Friday. (And by the way, the data in V2 has always gone where you want it to go. It's only the programs that went into a hidden folder.) wayneeseguin 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.

Louis2
At this moment I own lot of all day used programs based on windows. So there is no alternative for windows. And windows is not bad, however does not take away that there are a lot of things I definitively do not like: - microsoft does interfere with your privacy more and more ... - that OS, program, program-data, general-program-settings, used related program-settings are all mixed up, is a crime !! (it is practically impossible to backup and restore those data independent) - etc. forced microsoft accounts, and problems like described in this treat ..... If it was a good option .... I would certainly consider moving to Linux .....
wayneeseguin
Hello, I purchased the full V2 - I need either `.exe` or `.msi` installers in order to use them on my main machine. What is the status of this?

What is the status of this? Please see the FAQ: I am curious, though, why your main machine can't handle MSIX files. Please note that even for the EXE/MSI installers, the documented system requirements remain the same: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
