Can I Search for specific layer by name?

Recommended Posts

I just made a group in a large Design file and named it and then turned visibility off. Because there are so many layers and groups in my file I can now not find the layer. Is there a way of searching for it by name or to show layers that have their visibility turned off? or even just turn all layer visibility on?

Thanks

With no layer selected in the Layers' panel do...

Layer > Show all

Thanks @carl123 that helps for the moment.

It would be good if you could sort through the layers and find what you are looking for easier though. If I had a pile of layers turned off for a specific reason in a document, turning them all on just to find one layer could screw up the look of a whole drawing and piles of work would have to go back in to find those layers and reside them.

Searching is not in Designer or APhoto but in APhoto (V2) you can use Layer states to find a Layer by name and switch it on or off
