I noticed this when I was trying to mitigate the difficulty of visually distinguishing a child layer from a normal layer.

I typically use small thumbnails so I hadn't noticed this change until now. You're right:

  • small is unchanged
  • medium is between the old small and medium
  • large is what used to be medium

I sometimes use medium and the new v2 medium is a nice size for me, maybe I'll stick with it all the time. But I understand that some will want much larger so perhaps a fourth size could be added, extra large at the size of the old large.
