Color setting with Picker to a gradient stop is not consistent on popup panel

Can you give more details about what you have and what you are trying to do with it?
Screenshots – preferably annotated – are normally useful in these situations.

The color picker here works really strange, even you selected a point of the gradient fill, the picker always set another one

Thanks for the screenshot but I don’t know what you are trying to do.
Can you give us a step-by-step description of your workflow and tell us more about what you are trying to do with it?

You can't set color for a specific gradient point with the picker with the upper panel. It doesn't matter what you selected if you use the picker's color (the little circle on the right)

Thanks for the video, that makes it much clearer.

I think the problem here is that clicking on any gradient stop in the pop-up doesn’t change the selected gradient stop which is shown in the layer, and the picked colour is always applied to the gradient stop shown on the layer.

I don’t think this is expected behaviour but I could be wrong.

Oh, ok, I understand. But that is not proper if you can set color with the color panel on the popup panel for a specific stop but with the picker not, It's not consistent. Thank you for your help!

I agree that it seems to be doing something wrong.

Selecting a different gradient step in the pop-up should, in my opinion, change the gradient stop which is selected in the layer, but it isn’t.

In other words, the gradient stops in the layer gradient visualisation, including the selected gradient stop, should reflect the state of those in the pop-up, and vice versa. (Unless I'm forgetting something important.)

Yes you are right, I mean the same thing, this is inconsistent related to the Picker color binding to the gradient stops.

I would consider it "consistent" to do all settings in one and the same window.
