sw-fuzzy
I am using the brand new released X2D100c camera from Hasselblad. So I may understand that this camera is at the moment not supported, since it is on the market only since 2 months. The Hasselblad X1D and X1DII cameras, on the other hand, are listed as supported camera; however,l there are still no corresponding lenses in the lens list. The X1D camera is on the market since about 2016, the newer edition at least since more than 2 years. It is really highly disappointing that you didn't manage to include these cameras/lenses in the meantime. If you want to be a serious competitor to Adobe then you must act in a different way. They support even the newest lenses which were released just two months ago. The present situation of nonexisting support of Hasselblad cameras and lenses in Photo 2 is a severe drawback and it means that for me the software is totally useless and I will further on use the Adobe software. Staff NathanC Posted December 8, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 8, 2022 Hi @sw-fuzzy Affinity Photo uses the Lensfun database for lens correction when developing RAW files, It looks like the current release of Lensfun doesn't contain support for your lens, which is why this is not compatible with Photo currently. We are reliant on Lensfun adding support for these lenses in a future update for Photo to be able to support this lens by default. Unfortunately I cannot provide a timescale for this, as it relies on third parties, which are out of our control.

I just tried again with a file from the 14 year old Hasselblad H3DII-39, and again there are no lens corrections available. Don‘t tell me that the HC and HCD lenses which are on the market since more than 10 years cannot be supported. This is ridiculous. So I only can say good bye to Affinity Photo. It is totally useless…

From https://lensfun.github.io/lenslist/ it appears there is very little support for Hasselblad products from Lensfun so maybe not too surprising that AP has no lens corrections for that item?
