Publisher crashes

I started writing a book months ago, and I am now at page 670.  Up to now, Affinity Publisher worked fine, stable, no glitch.

Since yesterday, when I try to create a new section, Publisher crashes. I am getting desperate. Any explanation?

Hi JPLM, are you still experiencing this issue with 2.0.3?

The first thing I would do in this case is make a fresh backup. Then I'd save the document using Save As to create a freshly compacted file.

Is Publisher crashing when you click the Add Section or Close button in the Section Manager?

If it crashes when you click Add Section, where are you adding the new section? By default it would be at the end but what happens if you select a section in the list and then click the button? Doing this would add the section after the selected section.
