Sebastian ang Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Purchase the Universal license inside Designer 2 option, last November 23,2022, but only the designer2 for MacOS is activated rest still request me to buy again including apps for IpadOS too. have followed all the link process to activate the universal license but still it direct me to buy the license again. the only history record in your system is my old purchased affinity app in 2021. Need help fast to solve this never ending problem, and my project depend on the apps, unless I'm force to use Adobe illustrator again. Quote

I bought the version 2 bundle via Apple App Store, November 25, 2022. I received the receipt from Apple. But no ver 2 licenses are displayed in my Affinity account. "In my account in the V2 section, my purchase does not pop up." Same for me. See screen shots. You will not be able to register from the other two programs. When you open the software after buying it, you will get a screen offering you the option to create a new account or to sign into an existing account. If you already have an Affinity Store account click that option, if not click to create a new account and follow the process to get your new account set up. Once this is completed your license will be unlocked and linked to your Affinity Store account. You will now be able to use the other two apps as well as the other operating systems. Now that you've registered you can sign into your Affinity Store account in a separate step. Doing this gives you access to any bonus content you may have bought for V1 on your Affinity Store account. If you're still having problems you can try the trouble shooting tips here. Quote

I did try those troubleshooting tips/steps. Still, same error messages. Still, no V2 licenses in my account. I think I'll request a refund. If I here back from support, with detailed help, then maybe repurchase. (Restart. Relaunches. Re-download app. The Buy Now step, but canceled before being charged again. I started a free trial of Photo 2, successfully, then relaunched and tried to activate, which asked me to sign-into my account. This didn't work either. Same error page. Restore Purchases link doesn't work (doesn't doesn't launch anything. Inactive link). Edited December 2, 2022 by onno Quote

And if you purchased a Universal license that's what should have shown up. So that seems strange, and I have no explanation. If there are any special characters in your Affinity Store account's password, have you tried changing the password to something simpler, temporarily? Something with just a-z, A-Z, and 0-9, for example? I have exactly the same problem, and exactly the same problem again when trying the solution as advised in this thread. I bought a V2 Universal licence. With a Macbook running MacOS Ventura, I used the Apple Store to buy the Universal licence. I then managed to activate Affinity Photo 2. Activating it would not work at first but I found that, if I pretended to buy it all over again, it recognised my registration an did then let me activate it. The same thing as NOT worked with either of the othe products or with anything at all on my iPad. In ‘my account,’ the ‘V2 Licences and Downloads’ page reports, “You currently have no Affinity V2 licences.” It does this even though I HAVE bought a V2 Universal licence and een though it has let me download all six products and activate one of them. If that's still true, then you have not successfully linked your purchase at the App Store to your account at Serif, and until you complete that successfully you won't be able to activate the other two apps.
