Hi everyone, I have Publisher version 1, I wanted to know if version 2 is worth buying
Thanks Massimo

Salve a tutti, ho la versione 1 di Publisher, volevo sapere se vale la pena di acquistare la versione 2

Grazie Massimo

Any response anyone could give you to that will simply be their opinions based on their situation and requirements.
The best way for you to find out is to download and install the trial version and see for yourself.
(The V2 applications are installed completely separately from the V1 applications so you shouldn’t ‘lose’ the V1 applications in the process.)

Just bear in mind that if you open existing documents in version 2, they will no longer open in version 1.

If you are not committed to moving them forward to version 2, make sure you work with copies.

That should only apply if you Save existing documents, not when you Open them.

Technically correct; however, for someone in the habit of saving frequently (as one generally should), it is a very easy mistake to save the document without thinking about it after it is opened, which leads me to recommend an abundance of caution when approaching this.

Good point, @fde101. I've heard this will be improved in an upcoming patch release, which should provide a warning message and the ability to work on a copy rather than the original file.
