Girlvsworld Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 In Illustrator, if you have an object selected and draw a new one, the same fill/stroke colour is automatically applied to the new object. Is there a way to do this in Designer? I’m finding having to use the colour palette and eye dropper too often. Quote

FullSizeRender.MOV On the Toolbar at top… your Pencil Tool for No Fill and Auto-close are deselected. This enables you to use/draw…without those if desired, including the Synchronize from Selection. Turn these on and should work. Quote
Girlvsworld Posted November 28, 2022 Author Posted November 28, 2022 Thank you! So, I have to choose synchronize every time? There’s no way to have it be automatic, if an object is selected? Quote

It just enables you to continue with or without as an option, instead of always being stuck…but can easily get back to again if needed. You can select the Default > Save …to Synchronise it (for your current open Document/Canvas)…Save (globally, this and other created Documents)…or Revert (last synchronized). Once Synched, it should remember the last one selected…if Saved, it should retain unless another gets selected and synched. Here’s a good Tutorial covering it… Objects- Synchronize from Selection Quote
