Jose.rios
Perspective filters seems to take many hardware resources (Struggling to render changes), ending to not doing anything at all. My hardware is iPad Pro M1, no other app running at the same time.

It is normally much better instead to use the Live Perspective Filter which can be adjusted any time you want to. This version does take resources however. FullSizeRender.MOV Thank you so much Paul, your video was really helpful. Finally found my trouble…. Magnetic snap…. I had it turn on and due to that the perspective adjustment was doing slow. Paul Mudditt
On the contrary, I have managed to replicate the problem you identified, I do think you have uncovered a potential problem here, I can see the CPU stalls when slowly moving a corner, the CPU is struggling in V2 compared to doing the exact same adjustments in V1. It does not crash BUT there is definitely something going wrong with the rendering on V2 compared to V1. Jose.rios
That was my point dear Paul. Rendering seems to by so slow (perhaps buffer management is not the best here. Due to the fact that version 2 uses the swap memory feature is that the app do not crash, but definitely something it could be improved. Nice to hear I can help to improve this great app! DM1
Appears to be an M1 issue. Staff Chris B Posted November 28, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 28, 2022 I've logged this. There's a few specific M1 issues it seems so I'll link them together as they may be related.
