Picture frames are not showing anything in Publisher layer window

Picture frames are not showing anything in layer window in Publisher...
I search... I found no reason.

This problème is only in V2.
Here in picture.

It would be great to fixe it

I agree, at first I thought this was a deliberate change but maybe it's an oversight.

In v1, the picture frame layer thumbnail showed the thumbnail of the picture cropped and scaled within the frame, while the picture layer thumbnail showed the entire picture with a small icon on top.

In v2, the picture frame layer thumbnail shows the same as before, while the picture layer thumbnail is now just the icon. I have no idea what this icon is supposed to convey.

For me it's a major problem. Not convenient at all.

I'm having a similar problem. The assets are there, but not showing up on screen. It was fine yesterday, but today nothing seems to get them to display correctly. Hi Alexander and welcome to the forum. I think you're having a different issue - Starsk reported a problem with the thumbnails for picture layers inside of picture frames. This is unrelated to assets. not displaying on screen. It might be best to start a new topic because the solution will be different. I don't know the answer myself so please add as much information as you can when you start the new topic. Good luck.

Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here.

I believe that this is a bug, as Windows Publisher V2 shows a thumbnail for both layers - so I'm getting this logged with our dev team now.
