Gianni Becattini
I tried to reduce the number of chapters until arriving at just one, no change. Any suggestion? Quote More than 30 Macs, from 1984 Mac 512K Plus to 2020 iMac 27" i9
Gianni Becattini
Add something. I recreated the book, now the export process finishes but the produced pdf cannot be open (pdf error). Gianni Becattini
If I export the chapter as a normal file, the pdf is good. If I export it in a book with just this file, the pdf is corrupt. The book has one chapter only. Gianni Becattini
I discovered that there were 3 couple of pages (out of 412) that produced the problem. They seems not to have anything special. I will recreate them from scratch. Gianni Becattini
I discovered the problem. The hyperlinks are the cause (all of URL type, hard to explain why). Delete the hyperlinks and the export function will work again. Thanks for help, Affinity. Gianni Becattini
Other useful information: this problem is really triggered by too complex images linked in the document. Removing them the problem disappears. I could not yet discover which is the problem in the images, still investigating.
