Peterjg Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Hi, I realise that may be a small thing but it is driving me crazy. In Photo v1 when using say the pen tool I would get a pen nib icon to trace with - all I get is a cross-hair in Photo v2. Also in Photo v1 when using, say, the in-painting tool I used to see an area circle representing the area to be painted. In Photo 2 all I get is a cross-hair icon irrespective of the brush size selection. In all the bush tool all I see is cross-hairs. I have trid all the prefrence to address the above, I have reset factory defaults and even deleted and reloaded the software to see if I can address this. I am currently going back to Photo v1. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Peterjg. Perhaps you have the Caps Lock key active? That's a toggle in V2 to switch to showing a cross-hair for some tools. Peterjg Posted November 25, 2022 Author Posted November 25, 2022 Thanks Walt, You were absolutely right. I now feel like quite embarrassed, but not knowing about the Caps Lock I guess it was better to ask. Many thanks for your quick response and keep up the good work. Quote
