Can confirm some weird results with version 2. In my example the whole word is a compound path. Depending on the width of the black rectangle and the grade of intersection the results differ.

This is my simple test file:

v2-vector-boolean-subtract-fail.afdesign

1) Partial intersection OK:

2) Wider rectangle OK:

3) Intersecting path (with hole) "P" -> third path is erased after boolean subtract:

This is unbelieveable 😔

Just tested the same pathes with v1 -> everything works like expected. Serif - i really can't understand how it's possible to introduce new bugs in such a basic functionalitiy, that is working stable for years now in v1 ???

This has been driving me nuts for a while now - I do notice that the information above seems to refer to Affinity Photo - does this fix also extend to Affinity Designer
