We will be optionally adding Affinity layer data to TIFF files, so TIFF files saved from Affinity can maintain the source document layers. Can you explain anything about how this will differ from what I see now in AP 1.4.1, which is if I open an image file with a .tif extension in AP, make an edit, & just choose "Save" the saved file retains the .tif extension & all the same TIFF metadata as before the edit. Only if I use "Save As..." does it create a new file, one with the .afphoto extension. Staff Ben Posted January 26, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 26, 2016 There will in future be an option to preserve your layers in the TIFF file, so that when it is reopened in Affinity, all your layers (including adjustments, masks, curve objects, etc) can be loaded back again. Presently, we just save out the TIFF as a flattened image.
