AP Styles Imported from V1 don't work.

Recommended Posts

I tried searching for this, but nothing relevant came up.

When I installed Photo V2, it asked if I wanted to import all my custom stuff from V1, and I said yes. They came in, but the styles don't do anything.

I had one that I used often for a simple outer shadow with specific settings, but nothing happened with a layer selected and clicking the style.

Anyone else seen this?

So... imported styles have worked for everyone else?

They have worked for me on both Mac and Windows in my quick test with 2.0.4.

If you still have V1 installed, could you export the Macro and Style and attach them here and I'll see what happens when I try to import and run them.

Styles from V1 did not import to V2

Did you Export them from V1? When you upgrade they are not part of the data migration. You need to first export them from V1, then import them into V2. I've had not problems with using the V1 styles in V2.

I think that Style categories the user has added will migrate from V1 to V2. However, the styles in the Default category have been replaced, and they will not migrate. those need to be specifically exported and reimported, as you mentioned.
