Actual: The contour is offset from the original. I do not see this if I have the two layers selected, either within the group or as a pair of not grouped layers, and do the dragging/rotating. I find the weirdness goes away if I ungroup after doing the transforming (I can then group again if I want to). Again this is on my Mac.
