KarlLegion Posted November 24, 2022 Share Posted November 24, 2022 The bug affects all V2 apps, not just designer Desktop 2022.11.23 - 23.02.59.01.mp4 . V1 has no such problem. This is what I did: select any text related objects in the document. (either frame text, artistic text, text path, table) Shift+click twice on any empty space (double-click is not necessary) That's it. App freezes. At this point I can unfreeze the app by making the app window out focus and wait few seconds. If I minimize the app by clicking the task bar icon, the app will stay freezing. Simple artistic text -> edit -> SHIFT click 2 times outside -> freeze In some cases the app recovers after 20 - 30 Seconds freeze. In other cases i had a complete crash -> app window disappeared. In other cases i had to force shutdown via task manager. In case the software recovered during the freeze phase there was a siginficant CPU usage: Quote Hardware: Windows 11 Pro (23H2, build 22631.3880, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0), Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K @3.20 GHz, 128 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX A4000 (16GB VRAM, driver 551.61), 1TB + 2TB SSD. 1 Display set to native 2560 x 1440. " (REF: AFB-6977) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1925". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
