Seth Williamson
Hey, I'm in some serious need of help. I was working on a project earlier when suddenly I got an error message that it could not be saved because "because primary storage is out of space." which isn't true. I have all of my Affinity files stored on iCloud which has lots of space. I've also tried saving older projects even in Photo and I've gotten similar errors such as "File was lost" or "Access to the document file was lost while performing initial loading". Some files can be opened but upon editing them and saving them, I am met with another error message and forced to quit my document. I have rebooted my iCloud drive on my Mac which fixed my issues for about a day and I'm met with the issue again. Any help would be greatly appreciated
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Which application, and what version, are you using when you get this? Seth Williamson
Hey there I'm getting these errors in both Affinity Designer (version 1.10.5) and Affinity Photo (version 1.10.1), I'm also unable to update Photo because an error also occurs when updating every time. I also have 400GB of storage available on my disk. walt.farrell
Staff Dan C Posted February 14, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 14, 2023 Hi @Seth Williamson, Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here. Firstly, I'd like to get your Affinity apps updated to 1.10.6 as these updates have multiple improvements and bug fixes that may resolve these issues for you. Please visit the below links to download these latest versions: Photo - https://store.serif.com/update/macos/photo/1/ Designer - https://store.serif.com/update/macos/designer/1/ You should simply be able to open the .DMG file, then drag and drop the Affinity icon into your Applications folder to install this update. If you see an error message during this, please provide a screenshot of the error here for me. Once updated, please do let us know if these issues with saving files continues. Many thanks in advance!
