thomaso Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Some of us are wondering what role Affinity now plays in the graphic design software market. A survey has now been launched by an online typography magazine asking you for your preference or plan to switch. Of course, the survey is not representative and more votes are still needed. https://www.typografie.info/3/topic/40530-affinity-oder-adobe/ It is in German only, thus below an English version in case you want to vote. For voting you need to register. Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6

thomaso Posted January 12, 2023 Author Posted January 12, 2023 With only 100 votes not a viable result. The discussion with 150 posts does not show unexpected news either. Those who stay with ID do so, apart from Affinity's lack of reliability, because they can't or don't want to do without certain features. Also, the poll did not distinguish between V1 and V2, so it is unclear if / how the Affinity upgrade did matter here.
