I got it on launch day. It worked great, until yesterday i experienced  a lot of crazy glitches when trying to choose a colour. thought that deleting the app and reinstalling would work. So when I went back  to install the app noticed updates for affinity photo and publisher. So I updated those other two and downloaded affinity designer 2

My Assets and Styles on my iPad the content is all missing.  I can’t even import assets and styles I can’t even add assets and styles directly from my artwork..  Notice in the corner it’s all blank even the original content that came with this app is missing too.

plus my express keys non responsive example create style.  blue eye selected, go to my express keys, create style is blocked. Even my convert to curves is blocked too.

On my desktop they have content in both files and I can easily create more styles and add assets. However this ipad version is a total pain in this field. This is very frustrating

Please Serif Team Fix this bug.

I'm not sure what items from your post that refers to. But it's not a bug that V1 cannot open V2 files. That is by design and is intentional.

Fixed above to be more clear and organize the images of the issue.

What really burns me is the fact the original Affinity apps are gone from the App Store and our only option is the new apps V2 to buy / download.

had I deleted all three original apps, I would be up creak without a paddle and would have to wait until help arrives to sort out all the bugs.

I could easily understand all these buggy issues if it  was in the beta testing stage. However this is an official launch of the software. I feel V2 was launched to market long before it’s time. Hopefully these issues will be rectified soon.

If not please pull V2 out of the App Store and restore the original affinity suite until all bugs have been worked out on V2

Those sound like issues. They might be fixed by doing a Reset, either in the app Preferences > Reset or a more complete one during app startup

For the more complete one, close the app completely. Then start it and do a 1-finger double-tap on the app splash screen.

You could restart the iPad. Or, on mine, a slow drag upward from the bottom of the screen shows all the active apps. I can then long press one and flick it upward off the screen to close it.
