Outer Glow exported image has stronger 'Glow' than original!?

As the subject line says, I am experiencing something quite weird and frustrating: I get the outer glow looking the way I want, and then regardless of whether I export it as a PNG file or use the merge visible function, the new image has, without question, a more prominent glow! Super frustrating.

 

Any ideas as to why? Please see attached photo - the left collection of bars is the exported file and you can see what I mean.

I can't duplicate this. The outer glow looks identical on the file I export.

What app are you using (Photo / Designer?).

Could you post a copy of the file, or at least a subset of it that we can use replicate your problem?

Thanks for your reply - I am using Photo 1.10.5 - I closed the program and restarted a couple of times and it stopped and now exports normally - I am very confused - it was happening - I swear 😅 - I just tried exporting and then pulling the exported version back in to compare to the live project version and it looked identical so all good now. Thanks!
