Jeru
How do I update placed text (from a textfile) in Publisher for iPad? Or any other linked file for that matter? I believe the desktop version had an option to update automatically when a file is changed in the preferences, but I couldn’t find it on my iPad. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Jeru. That doesn't work for Text files (.txt, .docx, .rtf) or even .csv or .xlsx. The detection of changes and updating of the Affinity files, is only for the various image formats or PDF files, even on the desktop. All you can do is update the changed files manually in your Publisher document. Copy/paste, or Place, would do it. Jeru
Thank you so much Walt! Too bad it doesn’t work for textfiles, would be a great feature. walt.farrell
