Reveladd
Hi! I've got a problem with shapes when using "Add" function in Designer V2. Sometimes it works just fine, sometimes it creates like what "xor" function does. I created a text and converted it to curves. As you can see in the screenshot, first 3 letters merged good, but the last one. And I have no idea what is going on ;/
Bad_Wolf
Hi Reveladd, Why do you need to add? I created first a curved pad with the pen tool. Then in the "Layer" menu, I choosed "Convert to textpad". Select "Center" align. After that you type the text "BOOM" onto the path, select font and size. Then you place the text cursor between two letters and type "ALT" + "LEFT ARROW" until the position of the letters is correct and you move to the next pair and repeat. Once you are satisfied then select "Convert to curves" from the "Layer" menu. You get the same effect as with the "Add" feature. I hope this helps. Reveladd
Thank you for the response! I created all letters separately so I could edit them before merging them into one shape. I know I can fix this problem manually, and I did, but I just wanted to know what might be the reason for this kind of behavior. Especially because it's not occuring always, just in some cases like with the "O" and "M" above. And I'd really want to know the reason:) Edited November 22, 2022 by Reveladd
Komatös
Hi @Reveladd Have you ever tried to move the M a little bit closer to the O?
