nicanorrr Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Hi! I'm currently using Affinity on MacOS. I want to work on fullscreen mode but I often use the Escape key to deselect layers. Since this is also the shortcut to exit fullscreen mode, I end up using Affinity on windowed to avoid constantly switching back to fullscreen. Is there a way to disable exiting fullscreen mode with the escape key so that I can use Escape to just deselect layers? Or is there another hotkey for deselecting layers so I don't need to use the Escape key? Thank you! Quote
Brian_J Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 I'm not aware of a way to change the functionality of the Escape key, but you can use a different hotkey (shortcut) for Deselect. The default shortcut in Windows for Deselect is Ctrl+D... I think that may be Command+D on Mac, but not sure. You can verify the shortcut, or change it by navigating to: Edit > Preferences > Shortcuts. Filter shortcuts using the second drop-down list... choose 'Select'.
