From Photo to Publisher

Editing this in APhoto and sending it back to publisher (layer calculation "vivd light") gives me this result:

The vivd light calculation seems to seriously go wrong.

Please clarify the workflow. Are you talking about Personas in Publisher, or about File > Edit In... ?

In this case I wasn't talking about photo persona - I did the "Edit in Photo" ... I was originally coming from publisher -> Edit in Photo (first pic) ... and came back to publisher "Edit in Publisher" (second pic.)
